Goal
Foster and spread the culture that drones should operate in compliance with regulations and avoid undue incursions into controlled airspaces or restricted areas.
Current regulation has been developed by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and is applied to Spanish territory by the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).
Currently in force:
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/497 on procedures for the use of unmanned aircraft.
Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/945 on unmanned aircraft systems and third-country operators of unmanned aircraft.
RD 517/2024, of 4 June, which develops the legal regime for the civil use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and amends various regulations.
